I must be getting older. It too all day to get the lathe from the porch to the second floor. But it is upstairs, bolted onto the stand and broken-in. Now to learn what all the knobs and adjustments do, make some adaptations and start getting the lathe ready to do something real.


Also assembled the horizontal band saw to cut the iron bar needed to align the lathe tailstock.


The lathe is not "well behaved." It throws chip everywhere! The mill is much better contained.
