Note to self: Wearing your shop apron keeps your tee shirt from looking like you were riding a motorcycle backwards.
Broke the cutoff tool holder working too hard to eliminate the chatter when parting off a finished post. Spent most of the day/night aligning the new blade and figuring out what the new dial indicator reading should be so I can start production again.
The lathe graduated dials on the carriage and the cross-slide leave much to be desired besides getting used to 0.80" per revolution of the cross-slide handwheel.
Finished the currently required 40 post. Made a few extras while the lathe was set up. Will need 20 more if/when the remaining semaphores arrive.
