With tedious review I found 3 pairs of sensors that were misidentified. Who was the bozo that numbered sensors in one order, signals in another order and neither related to the track block identification. What an idiot!
Corrected sensor id/input pin definitions stored in the Arduino Base Station to match the database.
With sensor definition corrections the "Grand Tour" demo script works again.
Now there is a train derailment issue. ~ Solved I think.
